Kyle McCord parents-American footballer quarterback, Kyle McCord was born on September 19, 2002, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the United States of America.
McCord attended St. Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after growing up in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
Before the commencement of his first year of high school, he received his first scholarship offer from Central Michigan. He threw for a school-record 2,883 yards and 35 touchdowns as a sophomore.
Before missing the final four games of his junior season due to injury, McCord passed for 2,399 yards and 31 touchdowns. As a senior, he threw for 1,582 yards and 21 touchdowns while completing 65 percent of his passes, earning him the title of Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year.

With 6,887 throwing yards, a Philadelphia Catholic League record, and 88 touchdown passes, McCord ended his high school career.
Initially regarded as a four-star prospect, McCord chose Ohio State over Texas A&M, Penn State, Mississippi State, and Michigan State in his sophomore year to play collegiate football. Later, as a junior, 247Sports upgraded him to a five-star prospect ranking.

The majority of McCord’s first season at Ohio State was spent serving as C. J. Stroud’s backup. During Stroud’s shoulder injury recovery, he made one start for Akron.
In the contest, McCord was named the Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Week after completing 13 of 18 pass attempts for 319 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in a 59-7 victory.
He participated in five games and finished the season with 416 passing yards, two touchdown passes, and two interceptions. As the backup quarterback for the Buckeyes, McCord began his sophomore campaign.
All seven of his games were starts for him, and in those starts, he completed 16 of 20 ball attempts for 190 yards and one score.
